Patricia O’H. Norman

Patty and her husband, Tommy, are the co-founders of Charlotte Bridge Home. A native of Charlotte, Patty has spent a lifetime as a volunteer in the non-profit business. She currently serves on the Board Of Carolinas Healthcare Foundation and Advisory Boards of Good Friends of Charlotte, the Public Library Foundation and Women’s Impact Fund.

Patty is a past Board Chair of the Mint Museum of Art, Charlotte Country Day School’s Board of Trustees, The Children’s Theatre Board, the Board of Visitors of Johnson C. Smith and the Charlotte Mecklenburg Library. She is a co-founder and past President of Good Friends Charlotte.

She has used her fundraising skills to serve as Chair of The Mint Museum Ford Foundation Campaign, WTVI , NC Blumenthal Performing Arts Center’s 10 anniversary, The 2nd phase of the Capital Campaign’s for ImaginOn, Converse College and several fundraising events for The Junior league of Charlotte.

Patty was honored as Charlotte Women Of The Year in 2005 and received the Girls Scouts Hornet Nests’ Lifetime Achievement Award in 2013. Other awards include the Royal Sun Alliance Award for the Arts, Charlotte Country Day’s Alumna of the year and Volunteer of the Year by the Professional Fundraisers Association.
