Rachel has always had a great desire and passion for helping people who are in need of support, which led her to pursue a degree within social services. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology with a minor in Race and Ethnic Cultures from the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater. After graduating she used this degree to continue her pursuit in helping others and as such has worked with many populations to including fellow military veterans and their families.
Rachel earned her Master’s Degree in Social Work (MSW) from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and completed a rewarding internship with Charlotte Bridge Home in the first year of her MSW program. Her passion is to assist others, by using a strengths-based approach, to live a life with genuine happiness.
Rachel currently serves in the Air National Guard and has numerous family members who have served in various branches of the military.
